Just a quick update on club finances, up to and including the Oaks match yesterday : We've got £600.60 in cash, additional peg deposits totalling £197.5 and a set of match scales costing £79. Special thanks go to Lowfields, Poolbridge farm and the pool bridge raffle contributors who generated £360 towards club funds, thanks lads Any questions let me know Cheers, Mike

I'm absolutely knackered today mate, fishing 18 metres for 5 hours and then weighing everyone in is no good for lazy office workers like me!

;D ;D pmsl, deffo need a tripod .
why not have a raffle at each match ... either from donations or us to buy a few cans ,or a bottle of wine or some groundbait and pellets ect then for a pound a strip we could pay for the prize and make something for the club at each outing!

Nice idea, but always think a raffle really works well once in a while, seems to make more money and people tend to respond better. for me every match would be like another T A X that I would be obliged to pay !!!
only my thoughts

Agree with max, a raffle every match would seem like a tax. Maybe we could do a couple a year & also a couple of football cards or something similar, if we needed to raise some money. As long as the club has cash to cover deposits I cant really see why we need to raise any money. There's no point us being cash rich imo.

Can we invest in a Tripod cos you were shaking worse than me yestaday ;D I bought a tripod for YMA, I think I gave it to Ade at Aston. We dont need to weigh ourselves in at Messingham or Raker but i'll remind Ade to bring it next time we need it.
