mike, depending on what camera you already have, you might be able to just buy a housing. there are 2 main advantages to this, firstly, you already know how to work the camera and second it's cheaper! my setup cost £850 all in. there are cheaper camera packages but it's all down to what features you want and how much you want to pay. you don't necessarily need a strobe, you can get good photo's without one. strobe is better for very close photo's. have a look at www.camerasunderwater.co.uk
